Hello, I'm Steve...
I set up as a coach in 2019, delivering integrated talent management, leadership development, and change solutions to increase engagement and business performance. I am passionate about helping people raise levels of self-awareness and enhancing their skills, behaviours, and wellbeing. I have operated in business-to-consumer and business-to-business environments and several sectors including travel & hospitality, recruitment, technology, education, healthcare, and management consultancy.
I have a strong understanding of the dynamics and challenges of organisations and their cultures, particularly through periods of rapid change, and in start-up/scale-up businesses. My background in talent management and leadership development informs my coaching approach. Where appropriate, I employ the use of personality assessments and am a certified Hogan assessor.
My coaching style is upbeat, challenging and thought-provoking, and I bring both sensitivity and humour to your coaching sessions. I am committed to my own personal and professional development and look to draw from a range of approaches to support others’ growth.
Prior to working as an independent coach and consultant, I worked as Head of Talent for a travel technology organisation. Alongside operating as a consultant, I have also undertaken fixed-term assignments including Head of Talent Development & Change for a vehicle data business, and Head of Talent for a change & transformation consultancy. All roles have reported to board level with a remit to design and deliver talent strategies in line with business purpose, ambition, and values.
