TESTIMONIAL

Hello, I'm Philip...
I am a management consultant that works with middle managers and C-suite leaders on developing their leadership capacity. I work independently with a variety of organisations in the commercial and public sectors.
My particular area of expertise is the delivery of bespoke on-site programmes that match the needs of the future leadership of the business.
As a result of my previous career of over 20 years as a solicitor and corporate director, I am experienced in facilitating board and other meetings where open dialogue is essential between a variety of stakeholders and in particular between politicians and managers.
The unique blend of commercial, governance, political and leadership experience affords me a unique set of experiences when working with governing bodies (companies and institutions) leaders and senior managers. His approach is pragmatic, results orientated and good-humoured.
My work on the leadership of change and uncertainty focuses on the leading of self before others and the pragmatic requirement of making change a reality – rather than just a concept. I am a behaviouralist in my approach and see managing change and uncertainty as an organisational journey and not just a process.
I am a solicitor non-practising and have a PhD and MBA from Aston Business School, Aston University. I also hold a post-graduate qualification in Executive Coaching, Mentoring and Lecturing. I am a research fellow and associate of Aston University, Warwick Business School and an associate with INLOGOV at the University of Birmingham.
