LEAD NURSE, LEEDS TEACHING HOSPITALS NHS TRUST
Hello, I'm Amy...
I am an executive and leadership coach, consultant and facilitator specialising in increasing self-awareness, improved communication and effective working relationships. I work with senior leaders, teams and organisations navigating the challenges faced in today’s increasingly complex and uncertain world.
I create a unique, safe, supportive and appropriately challenging space for each client. I listen deeply, reflect what I hear and notice. I ask questions that enable exploration of your challenges, viewing them from different perspectives. My approach integrates a range of psychological models. I bring over 24 years of healthcare leadership experience to connect with the real-life challenges leaders face. Following coaching, clients report greater levels of confidence, personal resilience and resourcefulness despite rising demands for their services.
My previous career in nursing and healthcare leadership within the NHS and voluntary sector included strategic implementation of innovation and improvement at scale and the Professional Development strategy for a workforce of over 5400 healthcare professionals in a large NHS acute trust.
I formed my own company in 2021, providing over 500 hours of executive coaching to a range of individuals, groups and teams. I am a faculty member of the NHS Leadership Academy. I also work with the NHS and several national healthcare organisations, scoping, designing and facilitating transformational leadership and development programmes. I regularly speak to large audiences on staff well-being, energy management, workplace culture and compassionate leadership.
