ILM 5 Diploma in Effective Coaching and Mentoring
The Level 5 Diploma in Effective Coaching and Mentoring is an ideal qualification for leaders and managers with significant responsibility for Coaching and Mentoring as part of their day-to-day role. It is also ideal for those that are looking to embed a coaching culture across their organisation, for individuals planning to move into a development role as an Internal Coach, or for those planning to start a career as a Freelance or Independent Coach.
If you intend to coach a wide-range of positions at either First-line or Middle Leader levels, then this Level 5 Programme would be ideally suited to you.
The ILM Level 5 Diploma is a ‘Live Online’ course. This means it is delivered using a combination of live interactive workshops, observed coach practice sessions with experienced Coaches, live Q & A sessions for each of the 3 assignments, group and individual supervision sessions, as well as access to additional Online resources through the Xenonex portal.
The emphasis is on providing 50% coaching skills practice, observation, and 1 to 1 feedback with highly experienced Executive Coaches at each workshop. The Diploma requires learners to demonstrate their ability to plan, deliver and review at least 54 hours of coaching and mentoring in an organisational context.
Using facilitated modules, pre and post session study and research, self-facilitated learning groups, personal coaching, supervision and on-going summative assessment, this qualification helps you build a specific bank of tools and strategies designed for the corporate arena.
