I have coached a range of directors, managing directors and senior leaders across both the public and private sectors. In addition, I have coached at executive director and clinical director levels within the NHS.

Combining my own experiences as an HRD, NED and that of a coach, I bring a wealth of practical understanding and realism to the issues that teams and individuals face.

I have the ability to see beyond the immediate issue and get the people I work with to increase their self-awareness and leadership impact helping them change the aspects that really make a difference to their performance and personal wellbeing.

I am passionate about working with individuals and teams to achieve their potential; you will find that I am calming, challenging, supportive, and strategic, and create the right environment for exploration, discussion and great thinking leading to enhanced awareness and personal change. My positive motivational personality is infectious, creating a real sense of purpose, focus and enjoyment for all those who work with me.

Prior to working as an executive coach and in leadership development, I have over 30 years of experience as a senior leader in Human Resources and Leadership Development in a variety of successful organisations including; Marks and Spencer; the Mico Group and most recently Divisional HR Director with Eaga plc. where I was responsible for 5 different companies and 1500 staff, all of which had recently been acquired.

Along with the other members of the divisional leadership team, I was responsible for preparing for floatation, developing and implementing the people strategy and developing cohesion across the separate business units.

I was a non-executive director for the Rotherham Foundation Trust, Nov 2007 – Aug 2013, where I was both challenging and strategic, assisting the board to develop and deliver their future strategy which included incorporating the community health care provision into the trust alongside the acute provision, performance commitments and ensure high levels of governance.

As an author, I have written about resilience and well-being in my book ‘The Tree of Resilience'. I use the art of storytelling to make connections that inspire others who are experiencing difficulties.
